Nokia
IMPS Mobile Handset Settings:
In
the older Nokia mobile phones the IMPS service has been
divided into two applications, Chat and Presence. You need
to use the Chat application to chat with other users and
see their presence information. If you want to change the
details of your own presence and see the presence of users
in your list of phone contacts, then you need to login to
the Presence application. Even though there are two applications,
you only need to specify the server settings one time only.
The
latest Nokia mobile phones combine the Chat and Presence
applications into "IM" application. The IM application
combines both Chat and Presence.
If
you are not sure which series your Nokia Phone is then confirm
the series from here.
Nokia
Series 40 Old IMPS Phones:
First
go to Settings 
Chat and My presence settings
Current chat and presence settings
Select an Empty profile and click on Activate. This would
activate the profile where you will store the MobJab Server
Settings.
Again go to Settings
Chat and My presence settings
Edit current chat and presence settings
You would then require to input the MobJab Server settings:
Chat and presence service name : MobJab
Homepage: http://mobjab.mobi
User ID : username of your MobJab account
Password: password of your MobJab account
Connection Settings: This is your mobile opertors gprs/data
connectivity
Settings name: This is the name for the gprs/data connectivty
settings.
Proxies: This setting specifies whether or not your gprs/data
connections will be routed through a proxy. Enable this
setting if you will be connecting to an alternative Wap
Proxy/Wap Gateway.
Data Bearer: The data bearer that will be used for the connection
(e.g., GPRS, EDGE, etc).

Configuration settings
click on the Personal configuration settings
Choose Add new Option.
Then select IM and presence
You would then require to input the MobJab Server settings:
Account name : MobJab
Server address : http://mobjab.mobi
User ID : username of your MobJab account
Password: password of your MobJab account
Access point settings : This is your mobile opertors gprs/data
connectivity
Proxies:
This setting specifies whether or not your gprs/data connections
